“Hovea”
This series uses a stylised form of the native Australian pea flower
papilionaceae - butterfly flower as a central theme for landscape.
With about 500 species occurring in Western Australia ranging from
creepers to shrubs and herbs, it is for me a classic floral emotive
of the Australian bush. It is representative of changing landscapes
within the state of WA. |
