Jonathan’s interest in clay began in 1972, at the age of 17. After studying at Perth Technical College, he moved to Denmark in Western Australia’s Great Southern in 1976 and embarked on a journey to develop his own style and practice in the isolated region, inspired by the ancient majesty and grandeur of the south coast landscape.

The result is a body of work that encompasses a range of contemporary shapes and colour combinations that buck quick trends and ensure that quality, function, versatility and longevity are of the utmost importance.

Currently, the only place to purchase Jonathan Hook ceramics is directly from our studio in Denmark, Western Australia. We hope to have a small selection of items available for sale online soon, but the in the meantime please contact us directly for orders and inquiries.
